Introduction
The APT Methodology is a powerful and
flexible information systems project management methodology and planning
tool. Identical in look and functionality, the three browser based
package options allow you to use the APT Methodology on a standalone
PC, across a network, with or without an Internet or intranet connection.
APT Online
Point your browser to www.apt-systems.com/aptonline/,
enter your username and password and you will have access to APT Online,
the easiest to access and most popular version of the APT Methodology.
APT Professional
With the APT Function Centre acting as a web server running on your PC, APT Professional allows full access to the APT Methodology and toolset on a standalone PC without the need of an Internet connection or setting up an intranet. APT Professional is also able to be configured across a Local Area Network (LAN) making it ideal for small network implementations where access to APT Online may be limited due to slow or minimal Internet connections.
APT Corporate
APT Corporate is the hosting of the APT Online product on your own intranet server. Typically suited to organisations with 100 plus users, APT Corporate provides all the benefits of a thin client solution without the need for Internet access to every desktop.
Powerful Functionality
APT Systems understand that projects differ in many ways. The APT Methodology is not a strict set of rules that have to be obeyed for every project, rather a comprehensive set of phases, activities, tasks and templates designed to make you think of all the issues. This is further extended in the browser based versions with increased functionality allowing an organisation to tailor the methodology around their own processes and systems. |
